To showcase just how easy it is to make your Lindum Homes Hawks Chase property a home, and make your mark, the team has been busy getting creative!
In the latest Lindum Homes’ Showhome we tasked our talented apprentices and graduates to create a ‘one-off’ themed children’s bedroom, to compliment the bespoke interior design on show.
Following a briefing on site by Lindum Homes Sales Director, Rebecca Hurst-Miller, the team of Charlie-Anne Wilson (graduate design coordinator), Georgia Dickinson (apprentice bench joiner) and Dior Regan (apprentice painter and decorator) got to work delivering this creative challenge.
The brief was to transform the smaller of the three bedrooms in the new Showhome at Hawks Chase in Welton. Designated as a child’s room with a ‘potting shed’ theme to compliment the bright, village-garden inspired interior, the team were encouraged to be as creative as possible.
Charlie-Anne, who had joined Lindum after completing work experience here alongside studying for her degree, led on the design plans following the team’s initial ideas discussion. Once the design plans had been agreed by the team, Georgia set to making all the various elements required, ready to be installed by the Lindum Homes team on-site.
Once in situ, it was over to Dior, who was responsible for the decorating and finishing of the bed which included freehand painted bees. Once the fit-out had been completed, the team were invited back to see the final showhome before it opened to house-hunters.
