Sustainability
Lindum Homes continues to build great homes in great locations and to work for a more sustainable future. We are Planet Mark accredited and are seeing year on year reductions in our carbon footprint thanks to our investments in solar panels, hybrid cars and renewable energy providers.
We have committed to be a net zero carbon company by 2031. We think about sustainability in terms of our community too and work with schools, charities and other organisations, and with our apprenticeship programme, to deliver social value locally. Please see following link for more information.

Here are just some of the team who help make Lindum Homes different.
Rebecca Hurst-Miller
With a background in new homes sales, Rebecca joined Lindum Homes in 2006 as Sales Manager and now as Divisional Director heading up the Sales, Marketing and Customer Care for all Lindum Homes developments.
Using her knowledge and experience Rebecca helps advise on the layout and design of each home and, taking advantage of her keen interest and expert eye for interior design, she is also personally responsible for the fit-out of each of the show homes.
Working alongside her team of Sales Advisers they remain committed to understanding customer requirements and providing an excellent service for all visitors and potential purchasers.
Mark Foster
As a professional planner with significant experience in senior positions within Local Authority, Mark joined Lindum to provide planning expertise to both our Joint Ventures and Homes Divisions in 2013.
In 2016 Mark transferred solely to work for Lindum Homes, expanding his role to take on responsibility for the provision of both short term and strategic land as Land and Planning Manager. Mark became a divisional Director in 2018.
Outside of work, Mark is a former semi-professional footballer who now coaches his son’s team, HBW.
Simon Pickwell
After a career in the armed forces, Simon joined Lindum Homes in 1998 to learn his trade as an assistant site manager under the experienced, watchful eye of John Pearson.
Now, as an experienced site manager, Simon is responsible for overseeing one of the Lindum Homes developments himself.
No day is ever the same for Simon as his daily routine includes organising all the activities on-site – building, deliveries, machinery and plant, liaising with the designers, sales team and surveyors whilst ensuring safety, quality, timescales and costs are achieved.
Simon’s good nature and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure our properties make great homes is why he’s a long-standing member of our team.
Matthew Hydes
Matt joined Lindum in 2010 working for the Group’s Building Maintenance Services (BMS) division as Site Manager before joining the Lindum Homes team as Construction Manager.
A very busy workload looking after all the operational activities across the Lindum Homes’ sites as Matt ensures all the various individual elements that go into house building are delivered to the quality, specification and time required.
Helped by a very competent, small number of Site Managers, skilled craftsmen and supply chain partners, Matt achieves the impossible on a regular basis thanks to the great team involved and his tireless commitment.
Nathalie Addington-Smart
Nathalie joined Lindum Homes in 2014 as Sales Administrator and since then has gained working knowledge and experience in housing and is now the Aftersales Manager for the division.
She is responsible for the management of the quality control processes and Customer Care team. Nathalie is passionate about quality and oversees our extensive checking and snagging procedures to ensure all our purchasers are very happy in their new homes.
Colin Reynolds
Colin has been a member of the Lindum team since 1999 and is responsible for carrying out work as part of our aftercare service.
A familiar face on-site and in the office, Colin can be seen driving around in his Lindum Homes Customer Care van as he goes about his daily business.
As a multi-skilled member of the team, Colin’s work is varied as he often gets called upon to help both the build and sales teams with a wide variety of tasks.
Helen Coles
After 23 years in a customer care role working for a commercial catering company Helen joined Lindum Homes in 2016.
As a valued member of the team, Helen is responsible for dealing with customer care enquiries and works closely with the build team and our sub contractors to ensure that any defects are dealt with promptly.
Ashley Hornbuckle
Ashley joined Lindum in 2015 as an apprentice bricklayer.
His hard work, eagerness to learn and dedication have meant he fits in well and is an asset to our team.
As part of his apprenticeship, Ashley gained his National Diploma in Bricklaying Level 2 and continues to work towards becoming an advanced bricklayer.
In 2017 Ashley was named as the Apprentice of The Year in the Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards in recognition of his outstanding performance and positive attitude.
Anita Stancer
With a background in new homes sales and banking, Anita joined Lindum Homes in 2015 as a Sales Advisor at Langton Green in Lincoln.
Anita enjoys helping people choose and decide which property would suit their needs and requirements, and then taking them through the whole process until the customers are settled into their new home.
One of a small team of Sales Advisors Anita aims to ensure the process is as stress free and enjoyable as possible.
Alan Ritson
We believe we have the most qualified gardener of any new homes builder in Alan. As a qualified agronomist, amongst the many successful and varied careers he has had, Alan now spends some of his time advising on and caring for the landscaped areas and gardens on our developments.
He can be spotted travelling from site to site in his Lindum Homes truck and found cutting grass, weeding and generally caring for the flora and fauna at our locations.
Jon Cocking
Jon has been a joiner with Lindum Homes since 1999, there’s nothing he doesn’t know about windows, doors, staircases and all manner of things made from wood!
A very experienced craftsman, Jon is happy to share his skills and knowledge with young apprentices starting out and has been responsible for helping numerous apprentices become qualified joiners over the years.
Julie Beardsworth
After a career spanning over 36 years in Retail banking, Julie joined Lindum Homes in 2018 as a Sales Advisor at Garret Rise, in Heighington.
She really enjoys meeting people and is passionate about the Lindum developments and build. It is so lovely to help customer’s find the home of their dreams.
Julie always works hard to give service with a smile to put our customers at ease.
Joanne Smith
Joanne joined Lindum Homes in 2017 as a Sales Adviser and now as Senior Sales Adviser. With over 37 years’ experience in marketing, Joanne brings a wealth of knowledge gained across a diverse range of sectors, including engineering, medical and legal businesses.
Alongside her sales role, Joanne continues to support the marketing function at Lindum Homes, contributing to advertising, website content and social media activity.
Her broad background and hands-on approach help ensure a consistent and engaging customer journey from first enquiry through to completion.
Proud of our history
Being part of Lindum Group we are proud of our history and reputation. Lindum was founded by John F. Chambers, a Civil Engineer, in 1956 with a team consisting of a Secretary, Mrs Pauline Brown (who subsequently became Chairlady 32 years later), three tradesmen and a dog called Shep all working out of an office in Lincoln.
David Chambers, the founder’s youngest son, has been Chairman since 1992. Lindum now directly employs over 600 people across 12 trading divisions – involved in construction, joint venture commercial property, house building, plant, joinery and maintenance from offices in Lincoln, Peterborough and York.
